In the spring of 2009, EDA|NBBJ began design of a new pharmacy research building for the College of  Pharmacy at the University of Utah.  At 150,000 square feet and with a construction budget of $53 million, the project stands as a gateway to the University’s Health Sciences corridor and addresses the College of Pharmacy’s long standing need for additional state of theart research laboratory space.

The building is designed to use at least 30% less energy than a

typical laboratory building, exceeding the State of Utah’s green building requirements.
