PROJECT DESCRIPTION
As Utah’s tallest suburban office building, the Mountain America Credit Union Headquarters is the centerpiece of Sandy Utah’s new development area. This 11-story building features 327,000 sf and accommodates up to 1,700 occupants and visitors.
Offering the most high-profile and visible building signage in the valley, this tower is prominently located adjacent to I-15. Features include floor-to-ceiling glass, upscale finishes, and awe-inspiring panoramic views of the entire valley.
By directly engaging with the ownership team, we were able to gain an understanding of the critical architectural features desired. This led to increased exterior glass thickness for a crisp aesthetic of the architectural glass. Further, our team worked directly with BHB Engineering to allow additional floor deflections and compensation with curtain wall stack joints, saving the project a net $ 250k.
